94 S-10 blazer 4.3lt, transmission (2wd) problem

It is slow to get going (no get up and go)i can floor it and it like i am just lightly touch the petal when it is in drive or over drive...
in gear 1 i got a lot more acceleration then OD or D, and even in gear 2 i got more acceleration then OD or D
the engine sound great when reverse...plenty of power that seems to me limited due to the tran
i do not have aces to the computer to see if there is any error codes...can this be done at a shop for free?
Tran was replaced with a rebuild gm certified one

First check to make sure you have enough trany fluid. Some auto parts stores will do a scan for free and some will rent a scan tool.
