Chime won't shut off!!!

the chime on my 2005 ford focus won't shut off when driving....It isnt constant but it will do it off and on (every 20 secs or so) and no warning lights are on like the doors are open or anything....plz help!

Are you buckled up? My car sounds a chime when I start it up, then quits after a few seconds but if I don't buckle up it will start chiming again in about a minute to remind me I'm not buckled up and it won't stop until I do. Well it stops, then a minute later does it again. I actually tested it once to see if eventually it would quit if I never buckled up .. it didn't. :banghead:

So if you aren't buckling up, that might be the problem. If you are, then I'd take it in for a check-up.
