Door Locks

Hi Everybody:
I have a great 2000 Lincoln LS v8 Can anyone tell me if there is a way for all of the locks on the doors to unlock once the car is turned off? Passengers are always trying to open the back doors without first unlocking them. I have a 2002 Grand Prix, all doors unlock as soon as the key is pulled from the ignition. Any way for this to happen on the LS. Thanks for any input.

Do you have an owner's manual? If so, check there. If not, download one from the Lincoln customer website.

I don't recall for sure, but I thought that was one of the options selected via the driver information center on my 2004 LS8.

Well, I looked through the manual and played with some settings and nothing changed. Can anybody on the board tell me if their LS door locks all unlock when the key is pulled from the ignition, or the car set in park? Thanks!

Hey, i have a 2000 ls v8 too, my doors never lock automatically, when i put the key in the ignition they dont lock. i can see how that would be annoying though. good luck.
