I have a 2006 Lincoln Town Car. After several minutes of using the a/c system when shutting off the car, you can hear a noise coming from the blend door area. I was told that the blend door was still moving after the engine was off. This last several minutes then stops. Can this be fixed?

Welcome Horseman40 !!
We all have 'some' sounds from down there after shutdown, but only for a few seconds.
Curious question; if you open the drivers door while this sound is running, will it immediately stop then? As you know, these cars remain in accessory mode for about five minutes after shutdown (don't recall exact time), which is canceled by the drivers door opening.
You can put the Climate Control System into test mode to see if any problems are identified.
Search this forum for 'test mode' for more information, or:

Thanks for the self test tip. I'll try it. The noise I hear is like a poping or bubbling sound. When I had a service tech listen to it they said it was the blend door continuing to move?

That's odd 'cause the blend door actuator is an electrical device, motor driven. It's located directly under the dash, behind the glove box.

?? Wow, I've not heard that one yet. Maybe the procedure is a bit different on your 2006. I don't have the 2006 Factory Service Manual, and that information isn't in the 2006 Town Car User Manual (https://web.msslib.dealerconnection.com/RightSite/getcontent/myfile.pdf?DMW_OBJECTID=09000c5880556cca).
Anyone know what that 'blank screen' means, or have the self test process for 2006?
