92 ciera power windows

I need some advise. I lowered my driver and passenger side windows today and now they wont go back up. None of the four windows will go up or down, i checked the fuse its fine. i also checked the wires in the door jam harness the red wire(power i believe) had a little cut in it so i cut the wire and spliced it back together still doesn't work.
Expecting rain tomorrow need help please.

:screwy: I just fixed the problem, It was the groung wire that was cut thats why non of the windows were working. now there working beter then before more power. the windows go up and down much quicker.
