I have a 96 Park Avenue Ultra with some AC issues. The AC has always worked like a champ until recently. The entire system had gone belly up
requiring the replacement of compressor, evaporator, and drier. It cools great except for one hitch when you first start the car the heater blows hot air through the vents for about 30 seconds before it starts to cool. The mechanic that worked on this was a freind who is a Ford Tech and admitted he was unfamiliar with Buick AC controls. Any ideas?:banghead:

Had the same problem with my 94 PA. Check this thread:http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=737561
With reference to cycling the climate control on and off. If That doesn't work, try this thread, it's harder but it worked for me: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=742046
look for reply from ruffo66.
