MAF sensor

my truck seems to have bad acceleration, i tried cleaning my maf and made no difference... but if i unplug my maf and start the truck it makes no difference and the check engine light DOESNT come on. is that normal???

No the light should be on. Pull the trouble codes and see what the computer does not like.

but there is no trouble codes the light doesn't come on

Be sure your unplugging the 3 wire plug,and not the 2 wire plug.
The 3 wire plug is the MAF,and you should definately see a engine light come on.
