this thread was just to see what you guys have done to your town cars or what ideas and safety measures you guys may have! even if i have to junk this one or replace the engine, i'm pretty sure i'll always drive a town car!!! i love them!
thanks guys!!!

Don't look at me! I like to keep my TC as original as possible. I won't even change to springs in place of air bags on rear suspension or blackwalls in place of whitewalls. (tires)
I like the way my TC looks; large, heavy, straight lines.
I like the way my TC rides; no smoother ride anywhere.
I like the way my TC feels; I can "feel" the road and I can feel the power.
I like the way my TC sounds; can't hear the motor and no squeaks or rattles!
I like the way my TC economizes, 25 mpg on just completed vacation - and that with a plugged EGR valve.
I like my TC's integrity: 174k and don't have to add oil between changes. Temp never gets above middle of 'normal'.
I like my TownCar.
Nope! It's original for me. Why make changes to a good thing?

I pry wont do alot as in customizing the interior....but when i get some more money, for the interior id like to get a custom console in there since it didnt come with one. And in that console i want a screen put in which will be hooked up to a GPS and ill get a DVD playin headunit.
As for the engine. I plan on modifying my engine as much as possible to get this tank to max out its mpg. Right now i plan on replacing the entire exhaust system, pipes and headers and all. With brand new parts, and an Aero muffler and it will be dual exhaust. Then ill get a whole new intake system, all cold air intake if i can find one to go on it, if not i need to replace the current one anyone so maybe just new stock one.

I don't wanna do too much customization to my baby, but I was thinking about some nice aftermarket 15 inch rims so I don't lose my ride quality. I had 17 inches and it just didn't ride the same. I also have a nice sound system. I recently got a conversion kit to turn my lights from halogen to HID's! I love them they are super bright and a cool blue! As for having a different car I don't think so I love my "Boat!" Hell I already replaced my engine, and when the trans goes, knock on wood, i will replace that too!
