Rear brakes making noise

Today I changed my rear old rotors and pads for new ones on my 98 GST. I started to drive around to break in the pads but there is a noise that sounds like the pads are scratching the rotor when im driving when im not pressing the brake. IS this because the pads and rotor are still not worn in or is it a problem with the e-brake or something totaly different? thanks

It will go away in a few days.

alright i found that the nosie is coming from the e-brake ive drivin over 600 miles and it still is making noise and the e-brake wont hold the car when on a hill is there a way to adjust the tension in the e-brake?

Yes you can adjust it, you might want to adjust the ebrake pads so they dont rub anymore, you have to pull the back wheels off. Then try tightening the cable inside the car, just pull the cup holders out and you should be able to get to it from there. That should take the slack out the cable and it should hold better.
Other than that the pads may be glazed over from heat.
