just wondering if you guys are as on-the-fence as I am. I'm kind of leaning towards gen-2...but i dont know. I think id need gen 2 bumper for it to look good.

Gen 2. Best looking 3/S's IMHO.

the GTO garnish is awesome, but i would feel like a tool...
you can pull it off because you went all the way with it lol. RHD and all.

99 Looks good on a 1g. For anything else 2g FTW.

I really dig the 99 honestly, and yeah, gto if your RHD lmao. But Im thinking I will keep my gen 1 garnish and wire in some led's to work with the parking and brake lights so that "3000gt" is lit up. im just not sure how a 99 would look on a first gen, would the styling look to new to match the rest of the car?
BTW, I am all about the first gens euro styling :naughty:

I like mine, personally. I took the 3000GT lettering off of the center garnish and put a chrome mitsubishi emblem, like the 99, then i put 1st gen 3000GT lettering in the 1st gen location, so its like having the 99 but the rear garnish is smooth

:
it would seem like it would go prety well since the 1g bumper has the black "grates" too...and its about the same width. Just not sure if im crazy about it. The gen 2 definitely looks more up-to-date i think.

If youre going with a 2g bumper then definitely go with a 2g garnish

i love my pop-ups and i like how the sideskirts on the 1g appear to go in and up more...but yea, 2g rear end is better.

putting GTO garnish on my otherwise completely USDM-spec car would be like slapping on an "R" badge...it would be meaningless and make me feel like a tool.
if it were a different style, i can see a possible reasoning, but its basically the same exept the lettering.
thats how i feel anyways, to each his own.
