Auto tranny fluid....can I use

Valvoline Maxlife Dex/Merc ATF fluid in the Rodeo?? Says it's completely compatible and safe to use in tranny's calling for Dex II, Dex III, etc...

Reason I ask, is I AM already using Maxlife Dex fluid, with flawless shifting...but, my Tacoma calls for a Type T-IV fluid which the Dex/Merc fluid contains that spec as well, and it would be so much easier if I knew they could both use the Dex/Merc fluid so that a mistake isn't made somewhere along the line and accidently put straight Dex in my Tacoma - which will cause degraded shift quality and binding issues.

Thanks!
