I typically get 1-5 emails a day from folks thanking me for having the FAQ's up or asking me a question. Here is an email i got today:





I am a female and I proudly bought my 2000 Isuzu Rodeo brand new. I just want to say thank you for the information you provide. I was going to the dealership regularly with intermittent problems with the automatic transmission not shifting right or not indicating the proper gear, the improper reading of the gas gauge, and a couple of other problems I had with the car.

My biggest issue were the intermittent transmission problems. I felt the dealership was blowing me off because they could not hook my car up to a computer and find out what was wrong. I Googled my problem and your website came up with someone having the exact same problem that I know the dealership "said" they would never find without hooking my car up while the problem was occurring. Mind you I found the problem within a minute by looking on the internet. I know they would charge me outrageously for the repair. With that type of repair I am not comfortable doing myself, but I have a friend that I trust who is a mechanic that can do the repair within reason.

Also, because of you, I was able to change my fuel filter myself something the dealership, for the amount of work, was charging too much for. Your instructions and pictures have helped to keep me from getting screwed over by the dealership!
