lifter tick? and a fix?

is this lifter tick or something else? how can i fix it if its lifter tick?

if it is a lifter tick they have a product called sea foam you can put into your engine and one of the things it is supposed to do is free up the lifters they sell it at oreillys for about 6.99.

There's pretty much 2 things you can do:

1) Change your oil and use a thinner oil such as 20W50
2) Swap the old lifters for the new '99 lifters

Either way, it doesn't hurt the engine in any way, the hole size in the lifters are just too small to circulate a whole lot of oil in the upper engine, hense the lifter tick.
