im trying to get the noise out of my subwoofers, i've tryed just about everything i could find on the net about eliminating it. My problem is that i can hear my engine rev through my subwoofers, everything audio is now grounded at the same point. Im pretty sure its coming from my actual stereo, cuz when i unplug the RCAs at the deck the noise stops, im thinking it might be because my constant power wire to the deck had to be run from the battery because the existing one didn't work... please help, the noise is driving me crazy!

this problem almost always turns out to be that the RCA's cables are picking up the noise. Try using UTP's (unsheilded twisted pair) and moving them to a "quieter" spot

what brands make utp's? i always check ebay for stuff but i didnt see any there. is there a diff between utp's and twisted pair rca's? is there something that it shouldnt have, like copper or something like that?
