$600??? Sweet deal, looks clean. I dig the accent paint on the rims

Done the accent rim first and it took wayyyy too long. Im more of an impatient person. I then paint it, black with chrome lip. I'm currently in the middle of swapping to mpfi with the y8 manny, doing the mini me with a z6 head, and swapping to a manual. I'm also buying everybit of the interior, 91 front bumper, and fenders. I've had no luck on find fenders for cheap, nor the front bumper. let me ask one question.. please... will the 91 front fit on my 89? also, there are some spoon like mirrors on ebay, will they fit perfect?
and last question... if i bought projectors... will hid's burn the projectors housing from the heat??

I'm not 100% sure but I believe so.

also, there are some spoon like mirrors on ebay, will they fit perfect?

thats an oxymoron

You're way better off doing a retrofit projector job in the current housing or in a projector housing if you wish. Putting hid in the halogen housing will produce horrible lighting. There shouldn't be any heat issues unless the hid's have wiring issues and are running super hot. But if they are then they'll burn themselves out before they melt any housing away.

I can tell you the 88-89 bumpers fit on the 90-91 models. Thats cause everyone I know looks at my 89 and wants one on their car. Seriously its all personal preference but the 90-91 models are so ugly. The most glaring change is the signals. but they are interchangable

Well, The only reason i want the 90-91 front bumper is because, then i can get the p1 front lip. I dont know of any lip for the 89 fronts. Also, My 89 front is fudged up and im in need of another front.
What do you mean thats oxymoron? Im sorry, that must have went over my head.
The thing im going for on this crx is a kinda stock clean look, but with acouple added things just to give it, originality.
I was thinking... Black rims w/ chrome lip, dropped and tucked, spoon like mirrors (nothing flashy, just different),91 front with p1 front lip or stock lip,red paint, blacked out windows and tails, hid kit for either stock headlights or projectors.
I've got a set of hid's here at the house, but one of the ballast boxes went out on me. I put one of the hid's in one of the stock headlights, and man did it make a difference. what do you guys think?

I meant that stuff on ebay is rarely aa perfect fit. Especially if they're "Spoon-like" (not authentic product). I'm not saying don't buy em if you want em, but don't expect a perfect fit from the worlds largest online auction :2cents:

Yeah, you do have a point. Do i have any other options?

Well I guess you really don't have any options that are much better. With aftermarket parts like mirrors (or really any body mods) its a gamble as to how well they'll fit on your car. You could try to find the same mirrors online from another site but there's still no guarantee they'll fit any better than the ones on ebay.

If you can get a referral about a site where they have the product and someone can attest to its quality/fit from experience then your chances of hassle are way less. Or I would at least try to find the mirrors on a site that is known to have quality stuff. Finding the quality referral then becomes the hard part. www.downtoground.net may have some people with Spoon mirrors that can reccomend sites to buy from.

Good luck. Hope I didn't wreck the dream

Look through some of the sites in the Bodykit Thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=15633) to see if they got what you want
