hello, you can go to www.dealtrend.com. it is a price search engine that includes many companies that sells coilover. you can call any of the company you are interested in and asked them questions about coilover. i think they should be able to answer your question.

Depends on what your intentions are for your car. Do you plan on any real road racing, ie AutoX?

no i dont plan on real road racing, just on my personal car. however i was thinking why not get coilovers there only a little bit more $$. I live in NH and in the summer, fall, and spring i can get a way with my ride being low. where in the winter i could raise it a little cuz of all the snow and junk. but i dont know....

well if you get the coilovers you are gonna need to upgrade your shocks after a while. i say no more than a year before you shocks go bad. if you lower it alot then you should also get a camber kit or your gonna wear the inside of your tires down

GET COILS!!!! i have coil overs and i love them... it's so easy to adjust them it's ridiculous. the company who lowered my car showed me how to do it and i was like "that's it? you've got to be kidding". i've already played around several times with the height of my car ;]
civickiller is right though, ya need new shocks... and if ya go lower than 2-2.5" id slap a camber kit on there so you dont run through tires. i'm at 2.5 with no camber kit and i'm having no trouble with tread life... :D

If you're worried about shocks, why not save a little more, do it the better way and get full coilovers like I did with mine. ;) That way you won't have to worryabout blowing out shocks, because they come specially tuned to each application and are matched to the springs they come with.

APC = CRAP quality. Save your lunch money for a week and get something a little better.

GOD NO! DOO NOTT get APC. i didn't even know they made suspension parts, but it doesn't matter anways. APC is the definition of cheap.
As far as my ride quality goes, I won't lie: It is a big difference. I bounce more over humps, speed bumps, and railroad tracks. And I do have to go slower over dips and speed bumps. And there are even some roads I can't drive through because they dip so bad. But it doesn't bother me as much as you'd think. I LOVE THE WAY MY CAR LOOKS. And I can always change it if i want :D
