I found one that I really liked, but Not many people I know know the average pricing or have even heard what it is. >_> The person is selling it for 6900 but I don't know if I'm getting ripped off or not cause I can't find anyone else selling it. the cars in great condition. I found a website that has a picture of it. I dunno if this is the one I'm thinking about buying or not but it looks identical to it.

Welcome to AF!
Try researching values with this link:http://www.nadaguides.com/SectionHome.aspx?l=1&w=22&p=0&f=5003&any=0&DNAid=12879,8,192599,6249272,365002119,1187923500, older%20car%20price%20guide&aid=63831&iid=60170&nozip=1 It's the NADA guide. I remember the Elites back in the '70s. They were similar to the Torinos. I just got rid of a 1973 Torino I had bought from an older lady who bought it a few years back in Florida. The only problem I had was RUST. That was a bad problem in my area with winter salt usage . This car quickly rusted out and I couldn't keep up with it. Check the body on the car and pay attention to the underside and any hidden areas where rust could be lurking.$6900 sounds like a fair price for something of that vintage, given the body is good and it's mechanically sound. Make sure you start the car and hear it run and check over all the systems. It wouldn't hurt to have a mechanic look it over as well. Any issues you discover could be potential bargaining tools to lower the asking price. Most repairs are fairly easy on these cars for the DIYer. Keep us updated to whether or not you get the car and good luck!
