Hello everybody,
I'm sorry if the title isn't very descriptive. I have a '91 Acura Integra which has had a problem for several weeks now that has inhibited me from driving farther than about 5-15 miles. The engine will sometimes just stop working, and I've had this happen in the middle of a tunnel, on the highway, and numerous other places. The car has been able to turn on again after many many tries. The other strange thing is that these events usually happen as I'm approaching half empty on my tank or at half. I think it might be the fuel filter/pump.
Thank you for your time.

it sounds like your coil in the distrubuter is going out also your main relay might need to be changed check those 2 things or change them and it will fix the problem your having, by the way i have a 90ls turbo and the same thing happened let me know if it fixes your car. leo

Had the car driven to a mechanic, who said the exact same thing. The distributor had been dying. You were right hehe.

Sounds like a fuel pump/filter problem or your fuel tank cap isn't sealing so there's not enough pressure in the tank and lines.
This may not be related.... has to do with starting http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=158916
I had a 91 integra that ran fine... had a start problem in 2006 and the relay mentioned in the above thread was the source of the problem.
Worst case... you may need a fuel pump or replace a leaking fuel line...
On another note... some idiot :shakehead in a truck decided to backup without looking behind him while in the left turn lane in the middle of an intersection. Totalled my Teg... the front of my integra looked like an accordian.
On a positive note... I got $6K :2cents: from his insurance company...
Good luck!
