Hi all,
Been away from this forum and hobby for a while. Was checking out what's new out there and come across this: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10062593
First, I thought it must be a mistake so I check Fujimi's website and sure enough: http://www.fujimimokei.com/newitem/index.html (middle of page).
Anyone know anything about this release, like if it's going to use the generic Fujimi undertray  ? Is it a rebox form some other company? Hope they release a retro Vette or two if it's going to be new tooling.

Judging by the vintage, and the price, and the spot production, I'd say it's likely one of the old "awful" Japanese motorized kits from the mid-70's, and nothing worth building vs. a traditional version, which you can get from Revell/Monogram. I wouldn't get too excited over it, seriously. The price is far below anything by Fujimi that features new tooling.

It's just reissue of a long-OOP kit. I think it's originally Otaki tool, but I'm not sure.

That's what I was about to say, since Fujimi's suggested retail price on their "awful" curbsides is typically 1800 yen.
Does anyone else find Fujimi's choice of wheels interesting?
