are you sure? or is it just a cover for something more sinister?

Not all chainmail is a bad thing though.:bandit:

Chainmail G-strings
Our g-strings are great for more than just clothing:
Placing a vibrating massager against any part of the chainmail will transmit the vibration through each interlocking ring. This technique works great with our tightly woven bikini tops too!

The black knight! I always wondered what happened to him after his arms and legs were chopped off (merely fleshwounds)!

A friend that I work with was making chain-mail stuff like what's on that sblades.com site. He made a chain-mail bra, It was really obnoxious, because he carried it around with him, and if we went out to a club or something, he would ask any girl that would listen if she would model it for him. Of course, there were no takers, and I was embarrased to be seen with him... He always does weird shit like that. That's why I don't hang out with that d00d anymore...

At first, I thought you meant out of paperclips. That would be a good way to keep busy when the office is slow and the server is down.

I agree with moondog...

I love the middle ages, every part of it, with a few notable exceptions such as having a midlife crisis at 21, and bubonic plague.

Swords were such intricate weapons- A weapon that requires skill and mastery to best your foe in combat. you didn't just walk into "Ye Olde Armements" and plop down a couple'a "g's" pick one, go out and kill somebody. (let's remove this statement before I piss of a gun-lovin gmember...Lizard-king has quite a few LARGE boomsticks)

a couple of my friends back in high school were into that kind of stuff. They would make these huge swords and add a little bit of padding to them. One of them actually did make a chain mail shirt. They would go out in his back yard and sword fight swinging at full force. And one of them was this 6'4" 300lb polish kid who was just monsterous (i think he could bench something like 250lbs)

I wanted to learn sword-fighting at one point in time. and not pansy ass fencing either. The real sword fighting.

now I just beat the crap out of other people using my bare hand karate.

That doesn't seem very nice. You should do it on a hockey rink like I do. ;)

I like swords, as in samurai swords. They are much better for fighting. Sleek and light, why if you know how to use it well you could make julian fries out of someone.

OF course I could just use some good old Jeet Kune Do or my 30/40 crag or perhaps the 12 gauge pump.

As for the armor, waste of time, would only stop a side blow from a sword, a jab could do him in, and a gun, well he can just forget about that.

hmm...nope...no Everquest or DnD....

Played D&D in high school. More recently - though I haven't played for a while - I've played Rolemaster, which absolutely rocks. Far more intricate and detailed (especially the descriptions of damage/wounds  )

Just wanted to chime in that the above is not a big deal, really.. not to put down that polish kid. They say that a good yard stick for being strong is being able to bench 150% of your body weight 10 times!! Hell, I remember when I could put up 240 at age 21 - and I only weighed 170.
