hi, on my 95 rodeo. the blower motor will just stop, when i check the fuse its melted, it will melt the fuse everytime, but nothing else. what would cause the fuse to melt, it dont pop. just melts. thanks i'd look for a 'weak' short, or a weak ground even. first step might be to run the blower at the high speed setting to see if that makes a difference, which bypasses most of the resistor pack that adjusts the voltage to get the slower speeds. set the speed before you turn on the ignition. and/or bypass the diode back and run the blower from battery voltage.
at least you are ruling in or ruling out the resistor and/or the motor, and then you can go from there in your troubleshooting.

It probably doesn't blow real hard because the blower motor is going bad. Soon it will just stop. Replace it.
