is really easy. i installed a hurst shifter on mine. my buddy said he was going to do it on his hoist but i got sick of waiting for him so i just jacked up one side really high, through some jack stands under it, and went to town. you are going to want to get a new urethane bushing kit too ($10 or so)

Yeah, its not too hard. You need 12mm, 10mm socket and box wrench. Flat and philips screwdriver, jack and jackstands. And, say about 2 hours of your time, tops.

I went into Pep Boys the other day and asked the guy for a shift stabilizer kit for my 91 civic DX. He said that which one i get depends on the size of somethin. I forget what he said but does anyone know what im talking about or what size i need??

All the kits I've seen are made for the specific vehicles... I think the kits for the 4th-gen civics also work for 5th and 6th gen models as well though. Basically, I would just order an Energy Suspension kit or a Neuspeed kit online... You can get the Energy Suspension kit from Summit Racing for a decent price.
