I know that this is an open circuit code for the drivers side airbag. I just wanted to know if anyone knew a good place to begin fixing this problem before I dive in. I was not sure if this was a common problem, fied by a common method. Thank you all for your time.

The common answer that's going around is "check the clockspring".
Looking at the 1996 manual, there's some connections from the Air Bag that might be bad as well.

Code 32 may have it's own diagnostic procedure as well.

9 out of 10 are the clockspring

I agree with all of the above comments. Code 32 is an open circuit in the driver side airbag circuitry. The only moving part and subject to high failure is the clockspring. This is a flat ribbon wire encased in a plastic cover just below the steering wheel and is easily replaced. Once installed, it should cure the problem and reset the computer by itself. Thanks guys very much. I am going to have to clockspring replaced tomorrow morning. I was going to do the work myself, but i tend to break trim parts.

Anyone have any idea what its going to cost me to have it replaced? The part cost $42.33. Which is not to bad.
