My 240sx has about 140,000 miles on it, would a new set of motor mounts be a good idea? i know i dont need them to fit the new motor (sr20det). motor mounts help the engine from sh aking around alot right? cause my ka right shakes alot, its a very rough engine. i know this doesnt make much sense, but can anyone answer?

The KA24E is much rougher than the KA24DE. If you have a DE and it feels rough, chances are your mounts are going.. you can test this just by shaking the engine. Pop your hood and shake it with your hands OR rev the motor.. the less movement the better. If it jumps around a lot, then its time for work.
