I am going to buy a new cam for my truck and would like some opinions cuz i really have no clue what is out there for a 6 cylinder. I have a 1989 4x4 jimmy 4.3 automatic, I am looking for a really strong low and mid range cam for 4x4ing but still will make decent power when in the upper rpm range. I dont want to do anything to the computer either. truck has hollet tbi unit on stock intake with stock exhaust manifolds with a full 2.5 inch exhaust system with 40 series flowmaster muffler. Any suggestions would be great cuz i dont even know where to start?:runaround:

Call Crane Cams tech. department or any cam company you want to buy from and tell them what you have and what you want.

thats what I would say too. Also in my experience you have to get your computer tuned when you swap the cam to gain the full benefit of it. There are some when its not required but I don't think you get all the performance out of it.:2cents:
