OK. Now I've got some electrical gremlins...

I've traced where I do and don't have good juice running and have run into a mystery...
Pop quiz: What would cause volt-meter (digi) readings to slowly increase and/or (I've got both) decrease by tenths or one-hundredths? Anywhere from 1.01v~8.72v (roughly,-not at all 10v+)?? :runaround:Albeit confusing to me, continually stepping up and down?!? (in cycles) :licka:
Faulty ground? Any thing else? That's what I need a clue on. From what I know and have observed, (there are a pair of relays in the setup) it's like something in the circuit is back-feeding, causing the main battery flow to retard to lower voltage right after the main fuse just after the battery.
I know this explanation isn't complete. Please, just ask though! Thanks People!
YES. I ask here first!
HELP!?
These are after-market systems, well done. Perhaps old maybe? Dunno?

OK. Citizen....where are you taking you voltage reading from.
What does it read at the battery with the headlights on at idle?
What does it read revved up to 1200 rpm?

Sweet. I was hopoing you'd get onto this with me. Right now though, my sched is getting beaten up with work. looong hours.
I'll get those asap. Just not now, gotta sleep.
The affected area(s) are all aux systems. [Hella lights front/rear, ARB compressor, ARB's front/rear themselves) Basically, the five side of a dice switch layout.
..1.front hellas ...2.front ARB
..........3.Compressor
..4.rear hellas ...5.rear ARB
Also have a CB tied in that's affected somehow. Oh! and a dc/ac converter under the front passenger set. There's just a lot of wiring to go through, ya know? I didn't wire it, bought it w/all the goodies already... In retrospect- :runaround: lol <- cause it's my DD :licka:
There's a large gauge wire (fused, like you'd see in heavy sound systems) directly from the battery, going under the backseat passengers side that goes into a 'power block' thing (has 4 outs). I've got clean voltage at the end of that heavy main wire from the battery if it's disconnected from the block. (12+v's)
There are also two relays right after the block there. (4 prongs each?) Dunno what they go to just yet.
So, there's something after the block thing that's doing it (post 1)
Thanks. I'll be back with more :screwy: :runaround: :banghead:
Stay tuned kids!

OK. I got it fixed. Turned out to be the connection just after the battery going into the main fuse. I guess thanks for letting me vent or what ever this was...
