93 s10 trans slips in third

if i keep it in secound untill 45 m.p.h. and then into overdrive it shifts but slips a little,still getting to 70 m.p.h. when I start in overdrive I get into third at 30 m.p.h. but slipps terribly. thanks

Check trany fluid. If it is fill you have transmission trouble.
