where to start

I have a 1987 FI full size Jimmy. It was running rough like it had a miss. i shut it down and about 15 minutes later I went to start it up got nothing. getting fuel ok. where do i start, coil, cpu or what..........need some direction

I had a simial problem in my "87 Suburban. I took a spray bottle and sprayed around the coil and wires in the dark and dicovered that the coil spark was jumping replaced it and no more problem.another thing to think about is the ignition module.
