1995 Grand Am quad 4 Tactometer Installation Error

So all of the wires are correctly installed but the green wire that goes to the distibutor. Now the green wire that goes to the tact (the wire that read the rpm's) i need to know where/what it gets hooked up to. I went to auto zone to have them look at it and they coundn't find my distubutors. And there isn't a tact already in the car, thats why im putting one in for fun. please help

There is no distributor on the quad motors. I do believe the factory tach reads off the ecm.
