over heating

I Have a 1994 firebird formula v8 i put a new radiator becouse the old one was cracked when i instald the new one it started over heating now the water is coming out boiling out of the resavore i also replased the thermestat and the water pump any body with sugestions Thanks

sounds like you may have air in the system.

yeah. have you bled the system? there are two bleed valves, both are near the thermostat. one is on the heater hose, its a brass screw, slotted. be careful cuz those things get stripped easily. the other, i forgot where its connected to, but its really obvious too. first, put rags under both. open it up, and open the cap up. the water will drain down, so you fill it up till water starts dripping out, close em.. fill up the rest of the hose.. and run it for a few days like that, repeat for like a week or two. it should stop leaking out after a while. also, if you used straight water (did you?) its gonna boil because water boils at a lower temp then the car will heat up til. if anything, put a 30% mix of coolant, water , and water wetter or purple ice.. it should run the coolest like that. (unless you live where it snows/freezes...dont do that >_<)

Thanks Gays for the tips I found the problem when i replaced the rodiator i put the resibore hose on the bottom part instea of the top part you gays know how it has to plugin's on the bottom of the radiator cap.
