Clutch issue

I think my clutch bearing may be going out. When accelerating and up around 2500 rpm there is a steady squeal. It also squeals sometime when letting off the gas. The squeal isn't too bad at low rpm and light acceleration. With the soft top it's kinda hard to pinpoint the noise but I'm pretty sure it's the clutch. Does this sound right to you guys?

The clutch bearing only really rides on teh pressure plate when you engae the clutch, does the sound change when you engage the clutch? Also what condition is your drive belt in? This too willcause a loud squeal.

The squeal is gone when the clutch is engaged. The belt is fine. The noise is definitely coming from the transmission area.
