Stupid people

Yes, i know there are stupid people all over the place and most of the time they are bad drivers. But why is it that whenever you need to get somewhere in a hurry there is always some moron who completely thwarts your plans. I received a call from my mom that she needed me home ASAP because of a problem we were having at home. so i wanted get there fast and decided to take interstate instead of the highway. I was at the stop light to turn onto the interstate behind a guy in a white ford contour, the light changes and I proceed to follow him onto the ramp. Now before i continue, I was taught in drivers ed that the ramp was to gain speed so that you dont get your ass run over when trying to merge so thats what i do. This dumbass goes 35 miles an hour down the entire damn ramp, im sitting behind him worrying about getting obliterated by a semi and the guy has his head up his ass. so i decided to get past him. As soon as i pull into the passing lane, that asshole jumps right in front of me and puts the gas to the floor. so, even more enraged i just keep my cool and keep on driving, i thought he was finally away from me. Im going about 70 mph and ive been driving for about 10 minutes and i come up on a semi. I get into the passing lane and what do i see directly in front of me? that white contour. he was in the left lane- the passing lane, keeping pace at the front of a semi so that no one could get around his ass. i sat like that the entire way to my exit at which point i stuck the nose of my car up his ass until he moved so i could get off. i know its bad to tailgate but i really had no choice. how on the face of this earth do people like that get a drivers license? honestly. this isnt the first time either, i had some dumbass SLAM on his breaks on interstate when there was no traffic whatsoever. oh well, maybe its gods way of telling me i shouldnt drive. oh yes, and to end the story, i didnt get home in time for the little problem which i cannot divulge at this time.

I hate morons like that...I've been behind people who go 35 on the whole onramp. Usually I back way way off, 'til I have some space to accellerate, then gun it..sorry you had to deal with that. Now for the gentle reminder...if he had slammed on his brakes for whatever reason ( a bunny, maybe? ) you would have been considered at fault. So please rethink the tailgating, I know it was special circumstances but your life and your car aren't worth driving up that idiot's ass.
BTW, next time if someone does that (merging at 35mph) call the highway patrol. Most states it's *11 on your cellular phone, they respond really quickly and usually write a ticket. I called on one guy who was driving 2' off my bumper (no exaggerating) and menacing me, and he got $800 in tickets.
Another guy who deliberately cut off my dad in the gorge, (because my dad wasn't speeding fast enough. He was only going 5 over on a winding road and this idiot wanted to drive 25 over) and we called the cops. Keep in mind this is a 55mph road, winding through a canyon, heavy traffic, so if one car gets in an accident then at least 15 more will run into the 1st car. So anyway this idiot cuts us off (my dad had to brake AND swerve and he was still within 6" of hitting), we call the cops. They pull him over further up the road, witnessing him speeding and being menacing, and after taking our statements, he writes the guy a ticket totalling $1800. If we hadn't crossed state lines before they caught him he would've been arrested and had his truck impounded.
SO, I say get the police involved, you may end up feeling WAY better about the situation and MAYBE the idiot drivers learn a lesson.
