The radiator drain plug on my 99 Tahoe has a reamed-out area where the 1/4" allen wrench is supposed to go. The area is too tight to get my hand in there. Any ideas on how to remove this plug?

Welcome to AF
I would just work around it.
Like pulling the rad hose to drain it or flush threw a heater hose.
Plastic drain plugs are the pits and sometimes better left alone when they do not want to work right.

Are you sure you are looking at the right drain plug. It is on the driver side, bottom with a green handle. Unscrew the green handle.
