Light came on with all the others during startup about a week ago, but then didn't go out when all the others did.
Haven't noticed any braking problems so I'm thinking this may just be a routine light. Problem is, I'm going to be trading the truck within a week or two and don't want it to affect my apprasial. Can anybody tell me an easy way to make it go out????

Year, make and model are always helpful.
Which light comes on, just the yellow ABS or the red BRAKE light.
If it is the yellow ABS light, first thing will be getting the code pulled to see what is going on.

Yeah, I realized after the fact that I didn't give the vehicle specifics... It's a 2000 Tahoe Z71 (Old Body Style).
It is just the Yellow ABS Light. Someone told me that an Autozone-type store would pull the code for me if I take it by there. Is that accurate or am I gonna have to go to a Dealership?

AZ cannot do abs codes. Many independents have scanners that can access abs functions.
