What Kind of Shocks?

Hey,
Wondering what kind of shocks would be the best bang for my buck, and the best recommended (front and rear) for a 1997 K1500 silverado Z71 4x4. I am also thinking of doing a leveling kit, what do you think of those, and what kind should I do? would I need a different kind of front shocks if I chose to do the leveling kit? Thanks!

If you like the ride you had go with the OE shock. AC Delco

The 97 K1500 came with Bilsteins from the factory which are one of the better shocks. And they have a lifetime warrantee.

Ok, thanks. I think the ones on it now are oil shocks, what is going to be the difference between a 3rd party gas charged schock (seems to be less expensive) and a OEM oil shock?
