TCC is usually Torque Converter Clutch and is part of the transmission system, locks up the torque converter to improve fuel economy.

I assume you are asking because you are getting a diagnostic code for the TCC. If that is the case, if you post the actual code, you may get better suggestions than just "TCC = torque converter clutch."

sorry not about the TCC, it's about the EGR system. That was one of the coponents they said effected the EGR system. The code i get is a p0401 EGR flow insufficient. I've checked every other components that affect the EGR system i.e. dpfegr, ect, maf, tps, vacume sel. no carbon buildup, no vacume leaks. Every thing checks out, right ohms, right voltage at different levels of operation.and yes the EGR valve itself.
but yet that cel keeps comming back on. if anybody can clue me in to anything else i need to check out or do it would save my life. Thanks.:banghead:

With the engine at idle, pull a vacuum on the EGR valve. Since you've verified that the EGR valve works properly and is not plugged itself, the engine should stall or nearly stall when you pull a vacuum on the EGR. If you notice little or no change in engine idle, then you probably have a plugged tube for the EGR. This plug may not be visible from the EGR valve removed, but rather may require you pulling the throttle body and cleaning the passages there.

Yeh if i apply vacume to the EGR valve itself the engine almost stalls.Like i said there is'nt any carbon build up in the EGR system i.e. inlettube outlet tube or in the valve it self. it's truely driving me crazyrunaround .thanks for gettin back to me so soon.

Per the factory service manual:
Possible causes:

-- Fault in vacuum supply to EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
-- EGR valve stuck closed or iced.
-- EGR valve diaphragm leaks.
-- EGR valve or flow path restricted.
-- EGR vacuum hose off, plugged or leaks.
-- VPWR circuit open to EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
-- EGRVR circuit to PCM open.
-- EGRVR circuit to PCM shorted to PWR.
-- Differential pressure feedback EGR (D.P.F. EGR) sensor pressure hoses both connected improperly.
-- D.P.F. EGR sensor pressure hoses reversed.
-- D.P.F. EGR sensor VREF circuit open.
-- Downstream pressure hose off.
-- Downstream pressure hose plugged.
-- Damaged orifice tube assembly.
-- Damaged EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
-- Damaged D.P.F. EGR sensor.
-- Damaged PCM.

Any chance you reversed one of the hoses to the DPFE when checking it, or didn't get one seated fully?
