help with grand am 2003 plz

cars been great all of a sudden it wont start ive checked battery its good ive checked fuses and relays all good car wont even turn over it doesnt have that chip on key what else can i do aslo i tried to jump starter with screwdriver it would turn over but not start lost plz help

Check the wiring from the battery to the starter. There are fusable links on some of the wires at the starter and it is possible that one of them has gone bad and not sending voltage to the rest of the ignition. Make sure all grounds are good and check the voltage in the battery. If the car turns over by jumping the starter but won't start then check the ignition circuit to see if you are getting power to the rest of the car. This can be done by turning the key on and just checking voltage at the accessories and at the igniton module. Also check all the fuses in the power control center you may have a blown fuse that is causing the issue.

i took your advice and checked all that u told me to all was good then i remembered something i read about security reset turn key on for 15 mins then off for 5 secs then repeat process all 3 times and it cranked works good but why did it do this and what should i do now so it wont happen again plz help me with your knowledge thanks flamale

this has happened many times to me i was told its the ignition cylinder its suposedly not readin the key, like have u opened anyboxes of cut anything with ur key?? theres a way to bypass it by cuttin a wire but the security light will just stay on, for sum reaosn my security light always stays on when i drive so eventually imma head to the dealership and just pick up a new ignition cylinder but for the little things they were askin like 200 something for it as long as my cars starting now i can live with the security light on for a bit
