no spark

Hi,

Just replaced the head gasket in my 99 Silhouette, got it all back together and now... no spark. :banghead: All power works, leveling system works, engine rolls, but won't fire. I'm dumbfounded.

The only thing I noticed was that on the coil pack, on the drivers side, there are two plugs and I only found one from the wiring harness to fit the one towards the front of the vehicle, there isn't one for the plug towards the rear. And I bought this $150 mechanic manual and it doesn't show me anything about this plug... Does yours have a wire on both plugs? :runaround:

Found your post. I just finished an intake manifold replacement on our 98 Silhouette (89k) & same "no spark" issue as your post, everything works, engine rolls fine, but no spark. Same ICM thoughts about the "3rd" plug-in, but no plug? I'm feeling that the ICM may have shorted as I had a brief spark off the alternator when I was disconnecting it (forgot to disconnect the battery), a friend said that it could have shorted the ICM (Ignition Control Module). Only parts changed so far during the intake reapir was the gaskets & spark plugs. Checked 2 diff. plugs for spar, still no spark.

Did you fix yours? What was the issue. Any suggestions & help would be very appreciated.
