They sell this sheet of wood with adhesive in the back, it is very thin so what I did was use the decal sheet as a template to put these on. I had to cut out the plastic inserts on the model and then back it up with a thin piece of plastic stock so that they would look correctly indented when assembled.......

just goes to show that you really should have good ventiation when using automotive paint...

I see you went through all the trouble of wiring the ignition, doing the wood panels, getting fantastic paint results, all in all a great near box stock build. However, I must deduct points for not removing the ejector pin mark on the bottom of the left running board.

Yes, please do take it as a compliment. I ended up trashing my speedwagon because of the "woody" panels. you did an outstanding job.
