I had no problems or indicators at all the day my car died. I drove the kids to school, at the 2nd stop I had parked & stayed for about 20 minutes. It started just fine (same as first thing in the morning) & I drove back home to grab more coffee before going to work. I was home for about 20 minutes and went out, started the car (just fine no problems or hesitations), backed out, drove down driveway, turned down the street & got the length of 2 houses when the car hesitated for a split second & stalled. From then on it will only crank & will never turn over.... well, I was able to get it to turn over once for half a second before it stalled again. It still cranks, but no start. (full tank of gas too.. what timing.)

Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Also: My key (of course) has the computer chip in it. Could a magnet somehow damage that & cause the anti-theft system to not recognize the key?

Though I never got an answer through this site... :shakehead I did find out what the problem was. I wanted to share it here in case it could help someone else. It was the ignition module.
