my 2001 rodeo won't start once the engine is hot. It will start fine when the engine is still cool. Once it is hot the engine crank but will not start right away and have to crank engine 4-5 times to get it to start. A shop told me that it may be the vapor lock??? Have no idea so please help me out. I appreciate any help i can get!! Thanks:banghead:

One possibility is a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
On the first gens, leaky injectors can bleed off pressure after a 'hot soak' causing problems with hot starts.

without more information, if there is any, there's not much to go on...
but try starting it with the gas pedal all the way to the floor (like the old flooded carberator days). if this works, like the old carberator days, you have an overly rich start condition that you can begin to trace down.
one thing that comes to mine is the CoolantTemperatureSensor, the one that provides data to the computer (not for the dash gauge).
