Speaker mountings in front door of 94 LeSabre?

My 94 LeSabre has only the rear deck and front dash speakers from the factory. However, I understand there were optional 6-speaker setups that had speakers in the front doors.
Does anyone know if the speakers holes are in the front doors of all LeSabre so that I only need to cut the plastic and carpet door panel trim, or will I need to cut metal for installation of front door speakers?
I have 5.25" speakers, but just wondering about the difficulty of installing them.

I added 5 1/4s to my doors, as my car came equipped with the 4 speaker system like yours. You will have to get a set of the door speaker housings..they're simply black plasic speaker holders that fit into the door. I got mine with the speakers included at a junkyard for 5 bucks! The housings will bolt directly to the doors with no modification to the sheet metal needed. However, you will have to cut the front edge of the door carpet. That is where the "Concert Sound II" cover will go, and it won't fit on the door panel until about a foot of the carpet is removed. Most full sized GM sedan with concert sound II equipped vehicles '91-'99 should have the speaker housings/ covers that you'll need.
