ok i have a 92 firebird with a 3.1 v6 and my check engine light is on... it comes on after about 10 minutes of driving and then i begin to lose some major power... autozone hooked up their obd1 and found it to be a code 43- tps out of adjustment so i replaced the tps and i also cleaned the egr valve and cleaned the idle air sensor... the guy at advance auto parts said it just needed cleaned, but the autozone guy said it needed replaced... ideas?

The TPS is adjustable, best at .52V.

You backprobe the ECM reference wire and ground, with the key in run, engine off.

OK, have a scanner that reads live data 'hooked up' so you can see the voltage form the TPS.
