Looking for a radio/cassette or CD player

The radio/cassette player is missing in our 1980 rabbit convertible. The heaters is still there but the knobs are gone as well as the face plate for both. Someone snaped the face plate to get the player out. The dash lights don't work and there are a bunch of wires just hangin out inside the hole in the dash. I would like to get a nice CD player, but I've asked around and nothing seems to fit without the original faceplate for support. I can't seem to find an original dashboard face plate for this car.
