got BUSTED lately?

Last saturdays races were insane. Good thing i didn't go. There were cops everywhere, K9 units and what not. Someone was driving my brothers 240SX and they got caught in the act of the race, they almost impounded his car, they had to bribe the tow guy and give him $100 so they would give his car back. A bunch of other unlucky ones got arrested. Now, his car is in the Cops database of cars used in the illegal street races. Next time the cops run his plates, it's not gonna look good.

Me and my G/f live about a hour away from were i work and i was supposed to be home by 6:30 to go to some college thing with her i had problems up at work computer crashed and didnt get out of work untill almost 6 so i drove like crazy trying to get there a little ways out of town i a high po busted me with my speedo pegged 130 comes up asks my for my licencse comes back starts asking me about my car tells me he has a 200sx thats he is workin on bullshited for a little while i got away with a 15 dollar ticket for no seat belt he told me i could have that one or a 65 over the speedlimit and my car impounded i toke the seatbelt of course :D

Nice! A friend of mine got arrested he was going about 120 and first thing the officer asked him was "give me a good reason i shouldn't arrest you right now?"

Since i believe if you go over 80 you can actuall get arrested for that.

Another friend going about 130 in his 99 vette was just chillin' then he saw this highway patrol pulled right beside him both going 130. the cop looked at him and smiled, then signed for him to slow down... he he he... he obviously did... at least he didn't get arrested. :rolleyes:

my friend has a busa and a cop asked him do you know why i stopped you and my friend told him because i let he got a ticket but it was still funny as hell

I think the easier question would be have i not gotten busted lately.
1) Speeding 20 over - warning
I was really doing 105 but she only clocked me after she turned around and i was slowing down:D
2) Speeding 33 over- ticket $248 or $80 traffic school hmmmm let me think
3) Racing on highways- $250 plus suspension of license and 8 points or 25hrs communtiy service....once again let me think....
4) Speeding 60 in 45- (clocked at 70 also racing but got a break phew thank god) $95
plus many other violations cause the pigs flock to me like a donut shop!

I got a couple of stories both friends of mine Adam and Matt....ok Matt was caught doing 173kph in a 60 zone....thats 113 over the limit oh yea he was racing too...so he got a court date....so he goes to court. The judge advises him to talk to the crown attorney he does, and he explains that he turn a corner and this guy wanted to race, so he did and yea he was going too fast etc... in his 94 TDI jetta... And then the judge talked to him, turns out the judge just liked him and bumped his fine down to 40 over (he keeps his license) and gets 2 points and a $400 fine.......hes one lucky SOB, actually not really he crashed up his dads SL500 when he was 16 with a learners but thast a different story......anyways Adam...this guy is one very sick driver...so hes on a bridge in his stick 2001 Maxima doing a good oh 220KPH....and coming in the opposite way a cop sees and clocks him....he saw that, takes the first exit, and within 3 turns hes in a residential area parked in someones driveway at 3am with his car off and hes ducked down shittin his pants as he sees the cops lights drive by about 3-4 times until they finally left.....he again, was very lucky...

Those are some lucky guys! geeeze! I heard some stories about dodging cops by turning off the lights, or making a left signal and then turning right... ha ha!

I got a ticket at the street races tonight. On the ticket it says "viol engage in speed contest from dead stop, wheels loosing traction, speeding acceleration".

Anyone else ever experience this or know of someone who has? What will happen when I go to court?

And for those of you who are curious, I drive a 2002 Acura RSX Type-S (lowered 2.5" & thermal exhaust), and was racing a CRX with a V-16 motor in it. Yes, I was in front at the moment!

We were out at the races yesterday...the races weren't even into 10 minutes when cops showed up at both corners of the street... these were the K9 dudes in their ford trucks and a dog in the back. We were taking video footages and everyone was freaking out.... cars were driving over dirt to get away... hitting every rock and dips with their lowered cars. My buddy didn't know you could get arrested for just watching so he just stayed and didn't want to move... until finally the cop came and told him to throw the key out of the car (he was in a ford bronco). We had another truck with us driven by one of his friends, and they too got pulled over because they stayed too long taking videos. The cop that they got was kind of a dick since he wrote everyone off for Participating, viewing or assembling into an illegal street drag racing... and took the cop like 2 to just write them the ticket... i mean, these guys take their time. Our guy only wrote off my buddy since he was driving and let off on the rest of us. I will post the ticket on-line when it gets scanned and also the footage of the guys running away. When it was all over it was already 2:30AM so it was a wrap for that night. The cop was telling us that last weekend there was almost a head on collision with a K9 unit with two drag racers going over 100mph... the cop had to slam on his brakes and hit reverse so he wouldn't get killed... i mean, the street is so tight that you cant turn left or right or else you'd be hitting some of the bystanders... thats how crazy it is. You can't go anywhere!

Anyway, we have that on video too... he he he... so just a message to all of you, make sure to follow the rule : "don't be stupid!"

I'd get a lawyer to take care of that for me. You'll end up paying for the lawyer but they might be able to get you off on the points and even lowering your payment.
Good thing they didn't impound your car!

Here's a pretty good kill/almost got busted story. My and my friend are sitting at a stoplight in his '87 Grand Nationial (upgraded turbo, downpipe, exhaust, filter, intake) and this '00 Corvette pulls up and this kid couldn't have been more than 16. So being young and naive, he revs his engine and shoots us a dirty look. So I just turn to my friend and he looks at me and smiles. He revs his right back, turbo whining and all. The punk in the Corvette just laughs. Obviously thinking the whooshing noise made by the turbo was because the car was crappy. My friend took it up to about 4,000 RPM, the light turns green, and we both fly off the line with only a chirp from both of us. We were pretty even in 1st, but as soon as we hit second the Corvette fell behind. Probably feeling angry and confused, he kept at it. So after awhile I look at the speedometer and it reads 136 MPH. Then what do we see? COP LIGHTS IN THE REARVIEW! We were coming over a hill, so he flipped his lights off, turned onto a side road and pulled into a shopping center. We chilled there for 10 minutes and then left nice and careful. We pull out and look around and what do we see? The Corvette driver getting a BIG FAT TICKET!. :hehehe: :flipa: :hehehe: Needless to say we had a good laugh and a HUGE adrenaline rush. Thats pretty much it.

Down here in Toronto the street races are crazy every weekend. Last weekend the cops were in the helicopter patroling from the sky, so we had to wait till morining before we could get one pass going, but finally when we did and about to line up the cars the cops put a road block on both sides of the street. everyone strarted running to their cars like sheep, but being around the races for years i walked got into my scoobaru and drove over the grass past everyone and onto the main road. when we arrived back to the meeting spot a few guys were missing. they were busted. one of them was caught and ticketed for having no interior, and the other was busted for having his NOS hooked up.


These are chances we take when we we street race!

Well I only have one. I was flying down a road that goes from I-15 to my house at about 70 MPH in a 55 zone. Well as I am passing Micron I see a cop stationed on the hill. So I slow down turn into Micron, pull a U-turn, and take off like a bat out of hell. I head towards my sister's house to try to loose him. Mind you I never heard a siren or saw his lights. I pass my brother on the way there. I go screaming through there and end up in American Fork and then take a different way home. After getting home my bro asked me what the hell I did because not too long after I passed him a cop came screaming around the turn after me. Once again he didn't have his cherry tops on or his siren, and I never saw him in my rearview, but I got away.

the 1st one didnt happen recently though but i will tell it anyway, my friend had a 89 prelude hes a pretty good driver, he was doing 180s and accelerating straight outta them(not stopping) this was in a pretty tight street aswell, the cops saw him, one officer said to him, that was pretty nice stuff you did there(he wasnt being sarcastic) afew cops were pretty impressed, the other cop booked him, he got fined and had his license suspended for 6 months or lost some points, cant remember.


i was reported for street racing in my area and having people hanging out my window (not at the same time). anyway 2 months after it was reported, the cop came to my door, my mum answeres the door, he tells my mum i have been reported for street racing and that im not in any trouble he just wants to talk to me to finish up his report. cause i was asleep he came back in the afternoon, i was still asleep, i got into the shower, my mum answers the door, he waits like 10 minutes in my house, i get out, and he tells me i had been reported and all this, he was pretty cool about it, i denied it, he knew i was lieing cause he just wanted to fill out a report and get it over with so i just made his job easier and denied it.
i got reported racing in front of my house, the stupid thing is its not even possible to race there, its a 50kmh zone 2 way 1 lane per way and theres 2 round abouts, the place i really race was afew streets up. :p

i got a loitering ticket for watching races a couple weeks ago. instead of just letting me plead no contest and pay the $25 fine, they MADE me go to court for it, which added a $100 court charge. basically they screwed me into making my $25 ticket a $125. it was the 1st time i didnt run when they busted us, guess i learned my lesson... always run. at least they didnt pull up while i was racing.

then a week later i got a ticket for "riding in a space not intended for passengers"... who knew the roof rack wasnt intended for passengers? i still dont know how much that ones gonna cost.

i guess you can call me lucky then cusae i've never gotten busted by cops yet. i guess its cause i always got this feeling. like when i'm goin fast for a while then i feel somethings wrong. then i would slow down and like a few minutes later i would see cops. or if i dont' feel anything at all i would average 105mph all the way back to my dorm on the long island expressway. and the place were me and my friends drag, its lilke right in front of his house. its a down hill and a up hill and each section is 1/4 long. thats like a 30 mph zone but we always hit 80-90 mphs on that one. hehe. and delaysion thats too funny, i can't even imagine how that would look to see you riding on the roof rack of your scooby.

well as far as tickets go i had 5 in 2001 and got off on all of them, its nice when your dad is friends with the states attorney....but the other day i got busted for my exhaust being too loud...cops are jerks, they have nothing better to do then breakem off on us innocent street racers....by the way with the speeding tickets i was always atleast 50mph over the limit...needless to say ive slowed down..

just wanted to say i love your car... i had a 1997 nissan 240sx and it was the dumbest thing i ever did by selling it.....for an acura...keep that car forever they are unbelievable...
