wierd sound???

hey..lately ive heard this sound coming out of my motor while i drive..its kinda a ringing sound only when i accelerate..i havent investageted it at all yet..so i was wondering if you had any ideas? im not sure but i notice it more when motor is cold..but im not 100% sure on that..i havnt done anything to the motor recently to cause this.. although i did just put bigger throttle body on? would that cause anything? i dont have a clue..please help..thanks in advance

i would start be checking around for loose stuff that could be vibrating/rattling. I cant think of what would cause a ringing sound in the motor...:confused:

i will tell you that i had the same symtoms before and it was driving me nuts...turned out to be my tire pressure gauge and a bolt rattling together in the glove compartment...:grinno: sounded just like a telephone ringing and only happened under acceleration.

not trying to insult you lol...but make sure to check for stupid shit like that too, haha.
