hey all, ive got a 91 pa, i have a small leak somewhere in the a/c system.i can add freon to it and it works fine for a week or so then runs empty. is there a certain place that these cars fail first? i cant tell if the suction side at the compressor is leaking but it has dirt on it but it is not "wet" from the recent recharges. any help would bet appreciated. thanks

There is no particular place that these cars leak anymore than the other; however, the condenser, evaporator and compressor front seal are usually the first suspect. If you charge the system with a refrigerant/dye mix and the leak is in the condenser, compressor, accumulator, or hoses, those leaks can usually be detected using a UV light.
If it is the evaporator, you will need a “sniffer” to find the leak. Any reputable AC shop would have leak detectors of some type and should be able to help identify where the leak is. Are you still using R12, or has the system been converted to R134a?
