We just got my dad's 1994 F-250 Powerstroke to run again and the Steering box decides to go and start leaking. The truck needs two new fenders which we've had for 2 years. So my dad say's what the hell and starts taking the fender off to replace it and make it easier to work on the steering. We got most of the bolts out with little to no hassle. THEN there seems to be a bolt covered up by the headlight assembly. We take the grill off, move the covers that seperate the tire from the side of the engine and we can't find and reachable bolt to take the assembly off. We need some guidance or help on this. My parents have looked in Haynes repair manuals the internet and everything with no luck. Does anyone have a clue?

if it's the bolt i think you're talking about i had the same problem with mine in my 92 f250. i had to take out all the bolts that i could and carefullly lean out the headlight assembly to get to the hidden bolt. i don't know if that's the right way or not but that's how i got mine out.

There are 2 screws and two nuts that hold in the turning signal assembly. Basically everything but the headlights. the 2 screws are on top and the two nuts are hidden in behind through the radiator support. If you already have the grill out, just take out the grill support. Thats the black plastic that your grill and headlights mount to. The headlights will come off with that. Thats what I did when I tore apart my front end and it made it easier to put back together. And if I remember right the headlights bolt to that grill support and you HAVE to take it off to remove them.
