1999 Accord LX check engine light

At least twice a week - when going to start car - long delayed start followed by starting with check engine light going on. Once a week light will go on either by slowing down or at a stop. Once a week stall out while stopped. Have already changer O2 sensor - looking for insight.

check and make sure ur fuel filter isnt plugged up that can make the car sound like it doesnt want to start like trying to suck an orange through a straw. or possible vacuum leak

find the 2p connector under the dash board or the glove box. use a 2p connector to short it. turn the ignition switch to on. count for how many blink the engine check (MIL=Malfunction Indicator Light) will make. then i will wait for your reply. the code is called a DTC=Diagnostic Troubleshooting Code

that 2p connector isnt on every car because as of 97 federal law requires that all manufacturers go to obd 2 which means he needs a code scanner for MIL
