Got a quote from the dealer for just under $900 CDN tax included for a fuel pump assembly for my 2000 Jimmy 4 door. I finally picked up a Holley part# 12-914 high pressure pump for $281 tax included that was listed for a 3.8 supercharged 1999 Park Avenue. Have driven it 300 miles and the unit works well. Only time will tell if it lasts.

I wish you luck BUT.
A 99 park avenue fuel pump for a 00 blazer is not a very good choice.
Was it the hole assembly or just the pump?
Some places have The RIGHT oem delphi OR ac DELCO pumps for around 250-300 US DOLLARS.

The dealer price was for the pump assembly complete. Could not buy the pump by itself. The other prices for pump only were from Canadian Tire for $650 CANADIAN DOLLARS tax included and Autoparts Extra for $750. The fuel pressures are the same and it fit, so it was a good choice if the Holly pump is a good pump.

The best price I found for a genuine GM Delphi pump was at www.getgmparts.com (http://www.getgmparts.com).

Boy, isn't this internet a wealth of information - really - . Looks like the MU85 lists for $601 USD and web price @ $292. With the dollar exchange, duty at the border, taxes and at least a week delivery time I would have been looking at close to $400 CDN. Still, not bad for a complete module. I still haven't been able to find a pump alone, so the info on the Holly pump might be of benefit to others.

If you look up the specs on a park ave pump and a 2000 jimmy 4 dr pump you will find different fuel pressure and volume spec.
Which makes a park ave pump a poor choice for a 00 jimmy.
As far as price on a Delphi pump for either one I only found a couple of dollars difference.
So why would a person want to take a chance on putting in a pump that does not have the right specs and may not work right to save a couple of dollars?:grinyes:

At 110 max psi and 255 lph the Holly pump shoud be up to the task.
If anyone knows if the Jimmy requires more than that, please let me know.

As for dollars - A little under $900 (local - dealer) and a little under $300 CDN (local - Holly), is a little more than a couple of dollars.

Like I said, only time/kms will tell.
